SLT Replication in a NUTShell...!!!

1. Login to SLT Development Server – SAPBASIS / f2xxxx

2. Go to LTRC and select the appropriate Configuration – In our case, ECC_PRD is the config with mass transfer ID – 29 being used for data transfer from DEV/250 to HANA AXD ECC_PRD schema.

(SLT config name and target HANA schema will be same)

3. Ensure that you selected correct MASS TRANSFER ID and select “Processing Steps” tab

4. For every request to setup SLT table transfer, we need to process all the 5 steps in sequence without FAIL

Ensure the requested tables are updated on tracker link - SLT Tracker

Step#1 – Get the list of requested tables to be SLT’d and add it here

Execute it

Perform the same step through STEP#5 until “Runtime generation module”

5. Once all the steps are complete, proceed to trigger replication for these configured tables

6. Add the requested table list and select “Start Replication”

7. Execute it to trigger the real time replication for these selected tables

8. Once the replication started, switch to tab “Data Transfer Monitor” and ensure there is no “Load/Blocked” entries on column “Blocked Processing Step”

Once all the above steps are complete, confirm the requestor that the tables are configured for SLT.

SAP Joule.AI - Learn More !!!

Account Administration Using Joule
  • Learn about the administrative tasks that SAP's generative AI copilot, Joule, can perform for you in the SAP BTP cockpit.
  • Joule makes it easier than ever to create subaccounts and manage account users in the cockpit. With Joule integrated into the cockpit, you can accomplish your goals faster.
  • Ask Joule to perform an administrative action for you from a set of pre-defined administrative workflows.
  • Ask Joule a question about SAP BTP services or the cockpit. Joule references SAP BTP cockpit documentation and provides a summary of what it finds, as well as links to relevant help content.
  • If the use cases covered in this beta release seem intriguing to you and align with your needs, you can register with our beta program. Participating in this program lets you:
  • Give feedback to directly influence how Joule simplifies administrator tasks in the SAP BTP cockpit.
  • Get a first glimpse of SAP's generative AI copilot in the SAP BTP cockpit and try it out.
Access Joule
  • Joule is accessed directly from the cockpit when you click the diamond icon in the cockpit tool header. When the chat window opens, you can ask Joule to perform one of the supported administrative tasks or you can ask Joule a question about SAP BTP.
  • Because you're already logged into the SAP BTP cockpit, Joule recognizes you and can perform administrative actions on your behalf. It's important to know that Joule is bound to your cockpit authorization. In other words, Joule can only accomplish tasks for you that you're authorized to perform.
Supported Administrative Tasks
  • Learn about the administrative tasks that Joule can perform for you in the SAP BTP cockpit.
  • You can ask Joule to perform certain administrative tasks for you in the cockpit. If Joule recognizes the task as a supported workflow, then it walks you through the steps to complete the task.
You can ask Joule to do these things in the cockpit:

Create a subaccount.
  • Add a new user to a subaccount and assign a role collection.
  • Copy users from a global account to a subaccount. By default, users are assigned the Subaccount Viewer role.
  • Copy users from one subaccount to another subaccount. Users are copied over with the same role permissions that they were assigned in the source subaccount.
  • There are times when it's helpful to see a summary of your global account and subaccount user details. You can also ask Joule to show you these things in the cockpit:
  • View global account users and filter by role.
  • View subaccount users and filter by role.

Best Practices
  • When working with Joule, you're presented with options in the chat. Make your choices from the options provided for you. Don't type text directly in the chat. Joule works best if you select from the suggested options in the chat.
  • You can't mix an administrative action with a separate conversation about SAP BTP. Let Joule complete a task before you ask questions about SAP BTP.

Conversations with Joule
  • Let Joule help you find answers to questions about managing your accounts in SAP BTP cockpit.
  • Take your SAP BTP cockpit administration questions to Joule. Just type a question in the Joule chat using natural language and let Joule scan the product documentation on the SAP Help Portal for answers.
  • Joule summarizes the relevant SAP Help Portal information. This summary is then displayed along with the top three search results. If you select a link result, you're taken directly to the topic on the SAP Help Portal.
